Wendy Wisheropp
My name is Wendy Wisheropp and I'm looking forward to being your child's teacher this year. I'm currently a sophomore at Bakersfield College and am majoring in Mathematics with an emphasis in teaching. I have trained at both Darlene's Dance Workshop and Precision Dance Center for 14 years. This season will mark my 15th year. I have spent the last two years dancing with the local group Tainted Remedy at various performances within the community. Some of my favorite teachers I have worked with include Melinda Cordell, Gregg Russell, Mark Mendonca, Scott Putman, Marty Kudelka, Keri LeGrand, Paula Morgan & Mia Michaels.

I have taught dance for 5 years and have been an assistant for 8 years. I have also taught dance for the City of Delano during their Summer Academy 2007 and I have worked with the Cesar E. Chavez High School dance team for the past two years.

I am excited to share all I know about dance and hope that each student will find the same love of dance I found when I was younger and still carry with me to this day.

KatieAnn Wasnick
My name is KatieAnn Wasnick. I am 19 years old and have been teaching dance for 7 years. I live in Tulare where I attended Tulare Union High School, graduating in 2007. I have danced for over 16 years, studying all forms of dance including tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip-hop and modern. Some of the great teachers I've worked with include Gregory Hines, Mark Mendonca, Jason Samuels Smith, Debbie Allen & Keri Legrand.

Through my many years of dance I have received 1st place overall awards at competitions as a soloist. I had the opportunity to appear on America's Most Talented Kid where I won 1st place. I also received many scholarships at dance conventions during the year.

I am looking forward to having your child in my class this year. They will be learning how to dance and having fun at the same time. So put your dancing shoes on and get ready for a great year!
